NEXT LEVEL SPORTS AND ENTERTAIMENT SIGNS HISTORIC MEDIA RIGHTS AGREEMENT WITH JAMAICA LACROSSE
Global sports network to air exclusive, groundbreaking content through 2028 Olympic
Games
December 27, 2022 – Hanover, MD Next Level Sports and Entertainment (NLSE), a global
24/7/365 sports network, is proud to announce a historic agreement with the Jamaica Lacrosse
Association (JLA). This pioneering partnership will bring JLA content and programming
exclusively to the NLSE.
The JLA has spearheaded the movement to promote and grow the sport of lacrosse throughout
the island nation. The JLA’s central goal is to give Jamaican athletes an opportunity to compete
on the global stage through the Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships and,
ultimately if chosen, the 2028 Summer Olympics. JLA has made Lacrosse one of its priorities
and has worked diligently to get the support of its country’s Olympic Committee along with all
of the benefits and support that entails. Jamaica stands as a world leader and the first country
to achieve this progress.
“This multi-year media deal is a groundbreaking accomplishment for a sport organization that is
relatively young compared to more established sporting bodies in Jamaica,” said Calbert
Hutchinson, President of the Jamaica Lacrosse Association. “It will not only help with telling the
JLA story of the past, present, and future, but also be a source of inspiration for young lacrosse
players, who will now be able to see themselves being represented at the highest level in the
sport of lacrosse across multiple platforms.”
“This historic partnership is another example of NLSE commitment to bring top tiered lacrosse
to the world,” said Andre Gudger, CEO of Next Level Sports & Entertainment. “The ongoing
story of Jamaica Lacrosse is a special one, and we are extremely pleased to share that story
with our global audience.”
